Just a thought 🤔

So I've been comparing this pregnancy with my 1st and this baby seems SOooo much more active and I've been questioning why? Compared to my 1st pregnancy my life was much quieter... Now with a 2 year old toddler my life is so much louder... Could that be why? Or do you think I've just got an absolute wriggle bum? What are your thoughts? Have you found the same?

The difference between 1 and 2 for me has been wild!! Second pregnancy is so much more active but also my placenta is in a different place so I’ve put it down to that, but maybe it’s just a wriggler!

Baby in late 30s

Hi! I have a 5 year old daughter and me and my husband have decided to try for another one. I am so excited but also a bit anxious. I’m currently 35 (36 in august). Everywhere you read it says how your chances of getting pregnant is lower and pregnancies are riskier, so I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance that everything can go fine! 😅

My complaints about being a mom in my mid 30's my boobs have sagged even though they're full and engorged and I have to hold bub a special way so he can feed comfortably.and what is with the stiffness!? I get it, i no longer have heaps of relaxin in my system but holy balls my lower back! And yeah physio checked me so just having a whinge. Ladies grab your coffee or wine and have a whinge with me.

Pre-preeclampsia?!?

So I had my 37 week appointment at 10:30 4/15. I go in and they take my blood pressure….139/96!!! Eesh not great. Talk with my OB about delivering my complicated placenta (I have a secondary lobe!!) and what I can expect in terms of if there is any retained tissue.
Well, as a surprise to no one, she isn’t happy with my blood pressure. My fluid retention has been pretty bad this week, and I had a headache yesterday but I just needed to get off my feet and drink some water. But they send me to L&D anyway for observation, bloodwork, and urine sample.
Baby is doing fine, strong heartbeat, good movement, and they even caught them hiccuping.
3 hours later and they tell me I’m okay to go home….but that I was borderline preeclampsia. Quite literally ONE point away from being diagnosable. They tell me to keep an eye on my symptoms, and to call them if they get out of hand. And that if it does baby could be induced as early as next week…..two weeks early!!!
So here I am, laying wide awake, telling my mind to stop worrying.

Plus Sized Moms

or plus sized pregnancy ♡ I’m plus sized and I’m not really stressing about the weight gain, I see a lot of other pregnant women obsessing about not gaining any weight during pregnancy. Some of them say they have lost weight and my midwife says she doesnt want me to lose ANYTHING. Thoughts? She emphasized it so much that there should be no weight lost during pregnancy so I’m confused that other women are losing weight?
