Them: aww she cute but 2 girls when are you trying for your boy
Me: never I had 2 high risk pregnancy GDM, on insulin, developed preclampsia and postpartum eclampsia I had a seizure 48 hours after delivery and my baby was taken to the NICU while I was discharged
Then: oh that sad to hear do you not think it fair, your husband deserves a son
Me: 😳😳😳

I have 2 beautiful girls too and received that stupid comment recently…. My response was.. ‘are you saying my girls aren’t enough?’ and they instantly stumbled over their words and dropped the conversation.

What is the obsession with having 1 of each?! Or men must have a boy?! My husband is 100% a girl daddy and I adore being a girl mummy. 🩷

My mil was like this my little one probably was only a couple of months old and she was asking when we gonna have another one.

Harvesting Colostrum

Had my first attempt at harvesting colostrum tonight (37+4 weeks). Wasn’t expecting much and managed to get 0.2ml in the syringe which I’m so proud of! No idea if that’s a good amount for a first try or not I see it as a win no matter how much. Has anyone else started collecting? I didn’t even know it was a thing when I was having my first 7 years ago!
