Combi feeding

How are you all getting on with feeding your little ones? My plan was to breastfeed and express feed but due to baby getting jaundice we had to add a little bit of formula feeds to his day and night. It is working for us as a top up but how do you find exclusively doing it with breast milk? I want to try but now everything feels a bit mixed up. I suppose as long as baby is happy and it works I shouldn’t stress.

I was triple feeding my baby for a little while because she had jaundice when she was born. It was definitely stressful to cut out the formula, but we just slowly stopped giving it to her by decreasing the volume and it worked for us. She’s 18 months and I’m still breastfeeding her. I hope things workout for you!

I did triple feeding while mine had jaundice and needed to get back to birth weight , my life was it exhausting, I’m not mostly breastfeeding and pumping but pumping when I want to and not every 3 hours, hubby can still give a bottle if I’m tired or struggling on certain days and then I just pump extra and if she’s really fussy we’ll still give her formula. I guess I’m still triple feeding but relaxed triple feeding

She’s way past her birth weight now

What happens if you don't breastfeed?

Probably a stupid question but idk, if you choose to formula feed what happens when your milk comes in and how do you avoid mastitis?

Colostrum harvesting

Anyone else having real difficulty?? So demoralising. I was wondering if people have any tips…

Also how long should you try for? I’m getting minuscule drips but nowhere near even 0.1ml. 🥺

Thanks in advance

Silly question

My 1 week old seems to barely be awake, I know wake windows are really short at this age but is it normal for him to only be awake 1-2 hours a day?!

Spits at night

Hi ladies, my newborn throws up in her bassinet a lot throughout the night. I am too anxious to sleep with the fear she will choke or something more sinister is going on. Have anyone had a similar issue? Disclaimer - She is literally only days old

Left baby to cry

My six month old is exclusively breastfed, and from 2 months old he slept like a dream 8 hours plus, he fell asleep at the boob and then i put him in the crib and he slept all night. However, since 4 months old he has woken every 45 minutes and nothing will quieten him other than to be placed on the boob, he isnt hungry because he barely drinks.

Today, after two months of no sleep (partner sleeps in other room), baby was very fussy the whole day and i feel like ive ignored him, he has still been fed, changed etc but i just feel like i havent got the energy, no idea what to do 😭😭
