When did you start using a cot?

We did at 5.5 months because we moved house so it just made sense but did he use his cot??? No🫠 we ended up co sleeping because he refused to sleep away from us and he’s still this way at almost 3 !!!

My son is on the large side of babies, and we didn’t attempt to move him until he was too big for the side car bassinet and could pull up on the sides. Probably around 6-7 months.

But same as Shannon, we still exclusively cosleep, he won’t sleep in a crib by himself. Which honestly makes all of us sleep better so I don’t mind

Crib next to me til 9 months :) then slept in nursery with baby til 10 months to help me with the transition lol

We have a crib that transitioned into a cot. We didn’t transition it until he was like 10mo because I knew he would not stay in it for anything if we did. He had his own room starting at 3mo though and that helped so much to slowly transition him to being on his own.

I slept on cushions on floor but probably could do a twin mattress lol. Wouldn’t recommend using air mattress if you do do this since if you fell asleep with baby on accident would be unsafe

We only have a cot so as soon as we came home from the hospital he was in a cot. It is a cot bed actually so even bigger than a regular cot.
