Son was diagnosed with asthma

Hi guys! I’m kinda sad but also relieved that my son was diagnosed with asthma. I’m relieved because he’s been dealing with breathing issues his whole life but sad that he will have asthma forever. I know it’s not forever forever but while he’s young it will affect him. Has anyone else’s 2 year old been diagnosed? Or do you as a parent have asthma?

I have loads of food, environmental, chemical, and medicine related allergies. My second born already has had close to anaphylactic reactions to cashews and pistachios and is now having issues with oats. I feel so sad for her. So I get you. It sucks because there really isn't anything you can do except take care of them:(
