Do you allow your kids or teens to drink energy drinks? Or will you?

On occasion but not regularly, it was the same thing when I was in high school with monster & red bull

In our school idk why but the kids who drank one everyday or even multiple a day were seen as more edgy and popular, energy drinks became an unusual status symbol for a time and maybe that's still the case 😅

I know two former classmates who passed away before 30 from heart conditions or a heart attack; no one said it was related to energy drinks, but it was the energy drinks. My brother in law needed to see a cardiac specialist too and had to quit drinking so many on the job site. They're lethal and kids don't need them. Hard pass.

Nope. My mum’s a cardiac specialist and the stories she told me of people my age growing us is terrifying. Stressing developing hearts and lungs (vapes) out in puberty and expecting healthy bodies in their adulthood is wild. It’s illegal here for school kids to buy energy drinks and I think it’s being made illegal to give them to kids.

Coffee yes. Energy drinks no. I pounded so many in my teens and my mum had no idea because I bought them at the Tesco express by my sixth form. She’d have never bought me one. We don’t buy them or keep them in the house either but it’s something we’ll talk about as she grows up.

Kids these days are in such a rush to grow up sadly :(

Energy drinks? Hard no. Coffee? Sure.

Yes my teenagers drink energy drinks

Nope. It's being made illegal for sale under the age of 16 in the UK. For damn good reason.
