How do you get the smell of vomit out of the sofa
Hi all, my little girl was sick last night and it went on the sofa. After I mopped up the mess, I wiped the sofas down and then used the cleaning kit that comes with it - the stain itself has gone but the smell is still there! I have also put down bicarbonate of soda overnight but there’s still a smell!!
Any recommendations would be great! Thank you

I have a vax spot cleaner that did the trick for me when my toddler had a bug, I think you can hire them if you don’t want to buy🙂 (the liquid that you adds really good for odour maybe they also have other products that don’t need a machine)
I'm surprised as bicarbonate of soda usually works for me.
Use a white vinegar mixture 1 part water 1 part vinegar
Spray over the area and let it sit for 10 or so minutes and then dab with a clean dry cloth
The vinegar should break down the odour if that doesn’t work try an enzyme cleaner you can get them of amazon they work well on urine to get rid of odours so should work with vomit odours too
We use zoflora - but I’d also try the ones everyone has suggested too
