Flying at 31 weeks

For those of you who have flown while 31 weeks, how did you find it? (Holiday was booked before we found out and it’s for my child’s 18th birthday) thanks ☺️

Hey! I flew at 31 weeks. The actual flying part was fine, my flight was a short one though, only 2 hours. Main things to watch out for are that some airlines need a fit to fly letter. Neither my midwife or gp would write one for me so I had to pay for one online. Additionally, check your travel insurance as a lot of insurers won’t cover the pregnancy after a certain point

Birth!

Hi I’m currently 38 weeks plus 2 days and I’m having sweep today which might do nothing but I’ve been thinking more and more about labour recently and I’m getting myself so anxious about the pain as this is my first baby! I don’t do even do well during a smear 🤣 I am so far just down to have a natural birth but obviously if anything changes I’m fine has anyone got any advice?

Early gender tests

Has anyone used the peekaboo early gender blood test??
I did a sneak peek at 6 weeks (very rushed and in a bathroom I share with my husband) and it came back boy. I wasn’t convinced I didn’t contaminate it so I bought a peekaboo.

Peekaboo came back as a girl result at 6 weeks 3 days.

So now I’m the fool who paid $270 to be right where I started. Is one less accurate than the other? I mean I could’ve contaminated the boy result but the peekaboo may have been too early without enough fetal dna?? Ugh I want a girl!! I have two boys 3.5 / 12 months. Idk if I can handle another little boy in such quick succession haha
