Pre eclampsia/gestational hypertension

Hi!
I’m a FTM and was diagnosed with gestational hypertension that developed into pre eclampsia at 38 weeks.
I was wondering how long it took for everyone’s blood pressure to even out/go back to normal or how long it took for you to come off the medication!
I’m 3 months postpartum and still having issues, every time they try to adjust my meds it overshoots and I have a hypertensive “crisis” but when I’m on my medication on chronically low.
I’ve never been one to have medical anxiety but I’m scared to leave the house because I’m worried I’ll faint or will be trapped somewhere while having a high episode.
I know they say it can take up to 6 months but I’m on a higher dose than I was in the hospital and I think I set unrealistic expectations that it would go back to normal once my baby was born!
I just want to be able to look after my baby without worrying about myself all the time and stop myself from doing things because I know it’ll set it off again!

Okay this sounds super hippy dippy but I had the same issue and I took a cayenne pepper pill every day (you can buy them at a supplement store for under $20) and it balanced out my blood pressure no problem without having to do the back and forth of meds

I'm one month PP following severe pre-eclampsia and still taking some BP medication. I've been able to wean off the fast-acting meds as my BP is now normal on the longer-lasting meds.

Ugh I remember how hard this was! Had preeclampsia with my first and I remember crying in the doctor’s office for months anytime they would take my blood pressure!

I was only on mine for about a month. To me, this sounds maybe tired to some postpartum anxiety? And anxiety can cause your blood pressure to go up. I have had issues with this type of thing. Maybe talking to a therapist would help

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and my baby’s heart beat is 142bpm. What was your baby’s heart beat around this time and did you conceive a boy or a girl? 🩷💙

So uncomfortable

So I'm 30 weeks and I feel like I've suddenly got huge, I've hit the can't get your shoes on easily, sore hips and generally feeling like wading through treacle stage. This is my second and I started out bigger so am definitely much bigger than I was last time. Anyone else hit a wall? I planned to do a load of gardening this afternoon but think it's hit me I may have reached my just holding out till baby comes phase earlier than I was expecting. Please tell me I'm not alone! I hate this bit!

Ladies, talk to me about what to expected. I’ve already hit a wall and can barely drag myself out of bed. My body aches and I don’t feel rested after sleep. How much worse does it get?
