Over drank pop everyday all day since I was like 17.i know its bad, I'm sure it's the reason I can't lose weight. I'm sure it's contributing to my bad teeth. It's just all around not good and I need to make a change. But I can not find a drink that is satisfying... Ive tried Ollie pops, propel, lacroix, Ive tried all of those "pop replacement" flavors waters. I hate the Seltzer waters. I can usually find 1 maybe 2 flavors I semi like with waters and juice but nothing like quenched the thirst for me... Except for pop... And when I dont have a pop within 24 hours I legitimately start having withdrawals and I hate it so much.. I want to change but I don't know how..

I have 2 under 3 and im already so over worked and exhausted I can't deal with WD too.. But if theres anything you've tried that genuinely helped curb the WD and craving please help 🙏🏼

It is probably the sugar you are addicted to, can you eat something sugary like a sweet when you are feeling withdrawal symptoms and hopefully it will gradually get more spaced out, and you will not be having the pop anymore.

I went through caffeine withdrawal and nicotine withdrawal myself so I can 100% understand your pain. The only thing that helped me stop was going cold turkey 😮💨

Your addicted to the caffeine in pop , your going to have withdrawals from that , you also probably crave the carbonation , I quit sodas a few years ago, but started drinking them again , start slow limit it to 1-2 sodas a day then go to every other day and so on , if you can maybe just have a half/some when your craving it , I have soda every now and then but I crave it all the time

Walmart sparking waters idk what they are called girlllllll they taste like soda

I get like this at times, it really does feel like nothing else will quench that kind of thirst. In the past what i found helpful was switching to sugar free versions, they tasted horrible at first, which helped me to drink less of them, then it was easier to just cut them out completely. I’m going through a ‘relapse’ at the moment though 😅 also i know there is some suggestion that sugar free drinks are harmful in terms of the things they put in to replace sugar. It’s a tricky one. I think having ice on hand helps to make other drinks more satisfying, even plain water tastes so much better when it’s ice cold.

I was like this. Must of drank 2litres a day although it was diet. I went on monjaro and that cut all my cravings for it. Even now I’ve come off it it hasn’t returned. Now I just drink a lot of squash.

I'm not OK. I read this as I'm addicted to poop.
How much pop do you drink in a day?

I really like drip drop. It’s an electrolyte drink you mix with your water. Minimal sugar, but it’s really yummy and they have lots of flavor. I’ve heard people also really like cyrkil or whatever they’re called. They make your water taste like soda and stuff but it’s just water

Spindrift has some super yummy flavors!
They aren’t really soda, but the company does have a soda line!

You must be a millennial because I don't think most of us drank water ever. Is it diet or what's your drug of choice lol

Ahhh so lots of sugar and caffeine. If I do soda it's usually diet and I know people feel strongly about aspartame but I do not. Lots of ice helped me get into water.

I'm addicted to pop but I have drank sugar free for years and on occasions I will buy the caffeine free ones also. When I had gestational diabetes it was kinda bliss in a way because not only was I eating no sugar the fact I drank sugar free pop was awesome 😂 because with this I lost loads of weight. Honestly people believe to loose weight is just cutting down fat, it's also cutting down sugar because while I had gestational diabetes I didn't necessarily adjust my diet much I just stopped sugar completely and my face was no longer rounded and I lost a fair bit of weight. I mean Im going towards that sort of thing again because I want to loose a little bit of weight but yeah sugar free pop is my best friend my favorite is Pepsi Max 😂 xx
