I’ve been using the dishwasher for my babies products (I have paci wipes and pump wipes) since my husband and I didn’t think the bottle sterilizers on the market were for cleaning bottles that had milk in them. We weren’t sure whether you had to rinse them out or clean them first and then use it just to sterilize. Do you all know if the sterilizers clean them as well? Do they use/need soap? I’m also thinking of getting one bottles and nipples in after they’ve been cleaned in the dishwasher as the soap leaves residue that I don’t want my babies to ingest. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks ladies!

A sterilizer is just that.. it doesn’t wash milk out of bottles unless u purchased a bottle washer.

Use non toxic dish tablets like blue land, and for a streak free finish add white vinegar to the dishwasher where it says “rinse aid”

We just hand wash them with washing up liquid and rinse them before sterilising?

I used a bottler sterilizer so it would sterilize and dry we just cleaned the bottle as normal then place to sterilize. I loved the sterilizer for toys as well. They have ones that wash and sterilize typically each brand has their own tablets to use.
