Spout cup - learning to tip to drink milk

Those that have moved your LO onto a cup for milk that requires them to tip or drink how long did it take for it to click that’s what they need to do? My daughter has been using a weighted straw tumtum cup for her water. Bought her a tommee tipee insulated spout cup for her milk but she’s trying to just suck it like she would her water cup.

Just to say that the recommendation now is that spouted cups aren’t used past 12 months due to possible dental issues. We use the tumtum weighted straw cup for water & then the tumtum 3 way transition cup for milk (it’s straw, lid with hole or open but we use the straw bit) Hopefully someone else can help ref the spouted cup if you wanted to go that route 👍
