Membrane sweep

Had a membrane sweep earlier today.
Told my cervix was favourable (short and soft), 2/5 of baby's head below pelvis and 1 cm dilated. After the sweep I have had some mild cramping, nothing unusual , and the occasional braxton hicks. However, the one thing that stands out to me in a slight stinging sensation in my vagina. Has anyone else experienced this?
For context I'm 39+1.
