Pregnancy Annoucement 💗

I finally announced my pregnancy on social media yesterday! ‘A New Chapter’ was the theme because I’m a big reader 🙈 a little cringe but ohhhh well 🤣

Did anyone else find announcing kind of nerve wracking?! As if I’m not about to be 30 and am totally allowed to have a family 🤣

Midwife concerns

I’m 34 weeks now & as lovely as my midwife is I feel like she is a bit dis organised and all over the place.. Iv not had my urine checked the last 3 appointments, she told me baby was head down and sent me for a growth scan (bay measured over)to which baby was breech growth was fine but I know that’s normal.
My iron was really low at 28 weeks and I have had concerns but she didn’t do repeat bloods this week.
I’m having a home birth and she’s on call as my midwife which is making me more anxious. I’m on my fourth and never had any issues before am I over thinking?

Crazy question

I don’t know if it’s just me or what…? Before I got pregnant I had a really good immune system barely got sick and never had to go the doctors. It just seems like after I had my daughter I’ve had two doctor’s appointments because I was sick. I know my hormones are still crazy, I’m 11 months postpartum.

I’ve recently come across the ‘nub’ theory and would be interested to see if people think girl/boy?💙🩷

I’ve got my gender scan in a couple of weeks so would be interesting to see how accurate this is🥹🤍

I thought it was supposed to be easier to breath towards the end of your pregnancy?

I’m 36 weeks and I’m STILL DYING TO BREATH :/

Grandparents can be so rude sometimes!!

Went round my nans today (she's 88) to see her with my sons (6yr old and 3 month old) for dinner. Now baring in mind I see her quite often as she lives close by, I couldn't get over how rude she was. I was wearing one of my maternity dresses that looks like a normal dress but has a bit of stretch to it. First thing she says to me when she sees me... " are you pregnant again?" My aunt, who was sat in the lounge told her not to be so rude, I turned round and went NO I'm not, so she then goes to my aunt well look at her stomach. It looks big like she's pregnant.

It ruined what was being a really good day cuz thanks nan for 1) being so bloody rude, 2) making me feel self conscious in what I was wearing :( I'm aware I'm not as toned as I was pre-pregnancy and have probably put on a teeny bit of weight but there was still no need to make a comment like that.
