My little one has arrived 💕

My little May bundle of joy arrived yesterday safely via emergency section (was a planned section but ended up going into labour the night before).
She shares a birthday with her big brother who turned 19 yesterday 💙

Our hearts are full of love and we can’t wait to take her home later.

Congratulations! (I’m not part of this group I’m part of May 2025 babies) this makes me so emotional my son was born in May last year by emergency c-section and it’s gone too quickly. Enjoy your beautiful bundle of joy

Baby number 2 name help!

My sons name is Isaiah, his dad chose his name as it was a name he wanted for his son since he was a child and agreed I could chose our second child’s name. I’m now pregnant with our second son and I only like two names Azariah and Amari. But Azariah is my main choice and a name I liked since I was pregnant with my son. I like that it’s a biblical name like Isaiah and sounds good together. My son’s dad thinks it sounds too girly. My point is that it’s a male name used throughout the bible and now it’s unisex but slightly more common for boys. Am I bugging? I feel like it’s such a good boys name but don’t want him to be made fun of for having a name that’s too girly if I’m not being realistic?

Braxton hicks/tiredness (28 weeks)

Is anyone else feeling absolutely exhausted and or having constant braxton hicks? Long story short(ish) - called the GP last week to see if they could check my iron levels, they said they wanted to check for a UTI as I also had other symptoms. Results were inconclusive but because of Bank holiday weekend, the results from the lab won’t come back until tomorrow so it would be best for be to take antibiotics, just in case. Yesterday I was feeling so incredibly uncomfortable, feeling like I couldn’t breathe and having constant (painful) braxton hicks. I ended up ringing triage because I was so worried of the constant tummy tightenings and thought it would be best to get it checked, just in case. They were happy with baby and didn’t think I was in active labour. I have spent the whole day in bed, which is so unlike me, I literally can not do anything without having to lay down after 5 minutes. I’m only comfortable in bed because sitting up is causing constant braxton hicks. I am feeling so fed up, wondering if I have another 11 weeks of feeling like this. I have a toddler to take care of and obviously need to go to work and Im not feeling like I’m able to do either at the moment. Could this just be lack of iron??

Labor Induction

FTM and i’m officially 41 weeks, I had my appointment today and they scheduled me for induction next week (totally understandable) Does anyone have anything that helped them go into labor naturally? I’ve been pumping, walking, bouncing, seems like everything and nothing is helping. I can’t help but feel defeated. I really wanted to avoid being induced :/

Scared

Tested after my missed period and was immediately positive. Now I’ve been having some pretty intense pain for about a day that seems to have stopped, but last night I had some light bleeding that is now just brown when I wipe. Have also had terrible diarrhea (TMI I know). Anyone else experience the same? Picture of my tests on May 1st and today for reference.

Baby size

Anyone having their second and baby measuring smaller than their first?
My first was born on the 97th percentile he was 9lbs2, this baby seems to be on the 50th! I know it’s not extremely accurate but wonder if he’ll actually be smaller!
