Early pregnancy

I’m 7 weeks today, so still super early in my journey but I no longer have any nausea. Only tiredness, and the occasional cramps (no spotting) I’ve definitely got first trimester anxiety 😟 I’ve got an early scan next Saturday and I’m just wondering how others coped with first trimester worries 🫶🏼

Not trying to brag but 😭

Is anyone else just not really feeling scared at all?? Like about birth or anything?? Second child so not sure if that’s why but this time around I’m just super excited!
I don’t really remember how I felt with my first pregnancy because I was in fight or flight mode the whole time being in an abusive relationship and only 19.
So I kind of assumed this time around I’d be a lot more scared and nervous, especially about labour because my experience at the hospital last time was really awful.
But I’ve had 1 month of worrying and being scared. And now its the opposite and I can’t wait! I’m so so excited to see and hold my baby!
Every time I remind my boyfriend there’s only 17 weeks left, he has a panic and says ‘don’t! I’m so scared!’ Lol

People commenting on size of bump

In my first pregnancy I had a large bump due to polyhydromnios and it was indeed quite a big one and had pelvic girdle pain also so was unable to walk far and not allowed to swim etc. Im pregnant with my second and currently 19 weeks and my bump was visible from 10 weeks atleast and now quite pronounced. 3 individual people have commented on the size of my bump saying im massive and also they thought I was further along than I was because of the size. Then immediately started talking about someone who was further along than me and had a cute little bump but couldnt tell they were pregnant. It was just a really negative experience for me, I know they didn't mean it maliciously but I am just baffled as to why people feel like they can talk about the size of your bump. This pregnancy has been harder than the first and couldnt keep food down for 16 weeks , I work out 6 days a week and eat sensibly. I guess I just wanted to rant , im thankful for this baby and my body supporting it , its just difficult as ive always had body issues and spent the majority of my adult life trying to stay in shape. Not sure the aim of this other than to just rant into the ether about unhelpful comments on people's bodies!

Shaving legs

At how many weeks did you stop shaving your legs? Or when did it become too much of a task? For me it’s officially 26 weeks/27 weeks. It’s too much to bend. Unless you have any ideas of how to shave them then let me know!!! It’s having the back pain, and my bladder is sensitive so anytime I even slightly bend I pee and sometimes more than I expected

Anyone else on baby number 3?

Hello everyone and congratulations,

Has anyone else been taken back by this pregnancy? I’ve been sobbing for days as I just didn’t feel like it’s the right time. It’s been about 3 days since I found out and I’m just starting to come to terms with it.

I’ve already got a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I did tell myself I’ll be taking a break after my second so I can focus on myself. I’ve even considered an abortion after I found out but the thought of it horrifies me.

How’s everyone else feeling with the news?
