Washing Toddler’s Hair

😆 This is exactly why I just have him lay on the counter and wash his hair in the sink using a diaper changing pad.

I remember having this fight with my mom and grandmother when I was young. Went on for several years. Not sure why I resisted so much. I think I just wanted to be "right." 😂

We use a bath chair that is slightly tilted and a bottle that mimics a shower head with no issues.

Hairbrush help please

Hey ladies.

My birthday is coming up and I need a new hairbrush because my toddler has hidden mine.

I want a square paddle brush, soft but not so soft the bristles don’t go through the hair.

Recommendations, please! I googled it but it was recommending hairbrushes that cost ridiculous amounts (£hundreds) I’m looking for something that’s a bit more sensible price wise…

And something pretty is a bonus :)

Night feeds.

How often is your baby waking to breastfeed at night?

So my girlie is 3 weeks tomorrow.
Last night she had a feed at 20:00 in bed then put her in her Moses basket and she woke every 2 hours for a feed and nappy change.
Does this sound normal for this age?

She’s on the boob for like 15 mins then 15 mins upright winding her as otherwise she sicks it all back up .. so all in all I get about 1/1.5 hours sleep in between 🙈

Thanks xx

what would you do if you left your 6mo baby with your MIL for a few hours, and come home to her breastfeeding your baby? (she doesn't produce milk tho)

Her excuse: the baby was crying non stop and she panicked

🇬🇧 what would held you breast feed? 🇬🇧

I read this and it made me a little sad. What would help you breast feed?

However, breastfeeding rates in the UK are poor. In 2010, 69% of UK mothers exclusively breastfed at birth.4 This dropped to 49% at 1 week, and 23% by 6 weeks. At 6 months, exclusive breastfeeding had decreased to 1%.

Second Hand Baby Bottles?

Am I okay to use second hand baby bottles? I'm trying to introduce a bottle to my breastfed baby but so far we've had no luck. I don't want to go out and buy all the different bottles only for her to then refuse them all?

Would I be okay using second hand bottles to find one she likes and then buying new? I've been told mixed things but would just be trying her with the teats to find one she may actually take?

Do you wake your baby up from naps?

I’ve been reading so many mixed information online and I’m confused .

I read that if you shouldnt let baby sleep too long in the afternoon you should wake baby up, to make the sleep pressure stronger for the night sleep.

I also heard the classic saying “never wake a slee baby up” .

FYI My baby is 10 months old. I know a newborn just need lots of sleep so you kind of just let them do their things . But around 10 months what would you say?
