We’re also struggling. He just throws any other cup and we’ve tried what feels like them all. Somedays I just won’t give him a bottle and he’ll still refuse

I highly recommend the honey bear straw cup because you can squeeze a little bit of preferred liquid from the honey bear and then they will learn how to suck from a straw independently

Same smh I saw this thing on tik tok where you hold a reg straw w water or juice and let it fall into their mouth. That way it shows them stuff can come out of the straw so do that a few times then randomly put the sippy cup while doing the straw thing. It’s working for me but not to where he is drinking out a sippy cup. It takes time and all kids are different. To answer your question though lol I would say any cup your baby is able to squeeze but still a straw so it can help them. I hope this made sense

It also really helps if you can model the behavior for them

Weaning- the clean up!

I’m just about to start the weaning journey with my second and wondering what’s the best approach for the clean up!

What are you using to clean up the baby? What about the floor and high chair? Just regular changing wipes or specific flannels?

How are you cleaning down bibs? Do you reuse them before putting through the washing machine? Where are you keeping them/storing them when they are dirty and wet before being put in the washing machine?

I know I’m overthinking this but want to avoid smelly bibs and flannels lingering between washes.
Any tips for your laundry systems gratefully appreciated. 😅

Gosh I’m so boring- this is what I think of now haha

Crawling on hardwood

We only have tile and hardwood in our apartment.

I did buy the foam mat squares from walmart. But they are so cheap, hard to clean, and take forever to set up.

What other ways can I provide my baby with a safe space to learn to crawl?

9 month old not sleeping

I'm struggling with sleep. My daughter used to sleep before she was 4 months old. She's off and on done okay but lately since probably 7 months she doesn't sleep more than 2 hours at a time and tonight is really rough. She's freaking out, screaming, scratching me, flailing around and won't sleep. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. She's bed shared for months now and it was helping but it's just not anymore and I'm at a loss. I can't do cry it out. My heart can't let her scream alone. She also gets so worked up I know it wouldn't work anyway. Any advice is welcome. Tia.
