Just looking for some reassurance that it’s not just us… My partner and I both absolutely hate the thought of being too far away from our LO. For example we had tickets for a gig in London tonight but have decided not to go and to have a local date night instead. This is the second instance, the first being my mum wanting to take him to see his cousin halfway between us and where they live while I’m at work so again out of the county and I said no. Worried she’s taking it personally but it’s not her at all it’s just the thought of being far away from my baby that fills me with anxiety. Anyone else had this?

I’m the same. You’re not alone🫶🏼
I’ve not had a night away from my little one just yet. Although my mum is having him and his brother overnight not even for 24 hours next Saturday and I’m a bit nervous. Me and my husband are going for a meal together then just going to enjoy a lie in and go and get him the next morning before his nap is due! My husband also feels the same way about it all too. I have a four year old also and still feel this way about him although not as bad as when he was younger x
