I done the glucose test quite late in my pregnancy and was told i have it. Now i have the little test kit to test my levels 4 x a day. I thought i was managing it quite well but last couple of days ive had either too high or too low - this morning I was considered too high when testing after fasting before any meals.

Mine are one or two points over the 5.3 fasting for a morning a few days a week which I'm finding frustrating as i'm already on two metformin on an evening and i've stopped eating after 7pm
I'm bored of gd honestly, had it in my last pregnancy too and it controls my entire day and the guilt that comes with eating anything and everything is making me enjoy my pregnancy less, I just want it over with, 10 weeks to go🎊

Dont beat yourself up. Fasting numbers are nearly impossible to bring down with your diet, as they are dictated by your hormones. I tried very hard and my post-meal numbers were all controlled with diet but my fasting numbers needed overnight insulin to come under threshold.
I'd strongly recommend the GDUK Facebook group. The nhs diet advice isn't always very good, and GDUK is an amazing source of info and recipes etc.

Honestly the further you get in to pregnancy the more the levels are all over the place I found (especially my fasting first thing!) it ended up inevitable that I was going to be on insulin for it and that definitely helped!
