Help and advice please

Just brought my second child home she was born via emergency c section after a week stay in hospital on Monday. My first born is almost three and the first day we were home he was absolutely brilliant, since then he’s been showing signs of being poorly but he’s not actually poorly, I imagine he’s just feeling very unsettled due to us being away for so long in hospital and bringing baby home. Any advice on how to help him feel more at ease? I feel awful I can’t do more with him but I’m in so much pain from the CS

I have a May 2026 and May 2023 boys and also had a cs. We’ve been reminding my 3 year old we love him and so does baby. When baby does need me or someone else is holding him I offer cuddles to him. (With him sitting next to me on the sofa rather than on my knee). But it is a big adjustment for them at this age I think it is normal for it to take time for everyone to adjust and get used to new baby being home

I heard looking back at baby photos helps ❤️ and reminding them that they are and always will be so special and loved.
Lots of talk about how baby is so small and needs lots of help at the moment but there will always be time to play and be together xxx maybe get a special helper badge or something like that xxx
