Need some advice

Hey moms that have worked full time till delivering your baby. When did you guys decide to go on maternity leave? Am currently 36 weeks pregnant and am thinking about going on maternity leave once I hit 38 weeks & and just start using my PTO to relax and chill before the baby gets here!! What are your thoughts

I worked until the day before I delivered. Personally, I really enjoyed being able to take my entire maternity leave after my son was born instead of losing those precious few weeks with him. I also went to 41+4, so if I had taken off early I would have missed out on an extra 3 weeks with him.

At 38 weeks I dropped down from full time to 3 days a week. I think dropping your hours down is a good way to save up your maternity leave to use after you deliver. I worked until the day before I gave birth but my employer was very accommodating since I worked in supply chain (basically lifting and moving carts all day)
