Phones while driving!😡

My mom is constantly FaceTiming while driving and because it’s on the hands free holder she thinks it’s safe 🥴

I’d love to see more phone cams on the road. I’ve even seen HGV drivers on their phones, face up lit in their cab looking at their laps. Literally distracted and driving a multi ton weapon that could kill in a second.

If you use your phone whilst driving you are a selfish moron. Having worked closely with bereaved families of road traffic collisions for over a decade I have no tolerance for dangerous driving.

I think it’s “funny” that it’s mostly the older generations now in my area.
I legitimately saw an elderly woman holding an iPad infront of I assume her also elderly husbands face WHILE DRIVING on a 6 lane 65mph road. (I was passenger princess observing)
I hate driving myself because I don’t trust the general public to handle themselves safely.

I don’t trust myself to operate machinery so I certainly can’t drive bt it’s just so odd to me how much ppl play with their lives. Bt also the lives the others. It’s just as a dumb as driving drunk or under the influence. Ion get it

I used to be a bereavement counsellor, and the thing that upsets me the most is that it is often the people they hit rather than themselves that see the consequences. It is awful and way more dangerous than people think.

Oh don’t worry about them there’s cameras these days that’ll catch them and send a fine home 😂 I always have my Spotify playing and it’s on loud, like my car is pumping w music any louder and the windows will blow lol. I drive on freeways often though I go into city twice a week
