Weight loss

Hey mums 🤍

I had my baby 9 months ago and I’m really struggling with getting back shape. I’ve always found losing weight hard, and since becoming a mum it feels even harder trying to balance healthy eating, exercise, exhaustion and everyday mum life.

It’s started affecting my confidence a lot lately and I just don’t really feel like myself anymore. I know I need to be kinder to myself, but I’d love to hear from other mums who’ve been through this too.

What actually helped you lose weight or feel healthier after having a baby? How did you stay consistent while juggling everything? Any tips, routines, meals, workouts or motivation would honestly be appreciated 🤍

Hey mumma!
I too struggled/struggle to this day being postpartum and feeling so uncomfortable in my own body.

It can be hard to know where to start with weightloss while having to put so much of your energy and focus into motherhood.
I personally started losing weight gradually after increasing my movement. Just trying to get even a 30 minute walk in whenever I could made a difference! 20minute Dance workouts on YouTube! Postpartum beginners Pilates!. I know it can be hard to fit these things in during the day all while juggling daily necessities.

Sometimes I try to wake before the baby just to fit it in. Or immediately when baby goes down for a nap.

Talking about calories can be an uncomfortable conversation for some people but I’m sure you know they play a huge part. I am in no way suggesting any huge decrease or intense diet! but being more intuitive and aware of calories in my ingredients made a huge impact on my weightloss. I am down 10kg & still breastfeeding! 🥰
