Fourth Wing *spoiler theory?*
I don’t know how many copies of Fourth Wing has the Xaden POV chapters at the end, but mine has two bonus ones. In the second one, Xaden mentions that Melgren makes his skin crawl. I assume from their talk of venin in Onyx Storm that there definitely already are some present at Basgiath. Is it possible Melgren is one? Is Tairn nature’s replacement for Codagh? Fourth Wing repeatedly mentions all things in balance. And we saw a second shadow wielder (Lynx, I think) manifesting his signet in Onyx Storm, which hints at nature’s replacement for Xaden to keep things in balance. (I’m secretly hoping Lynx is somehow disappeared because Violet restores Xaden’s soul, of course.)
If this series doesn’t end with a HEA for Violet and Xaden together, I will be throwing things over here.
Anyway, what are your thoughts? Could Melgren be a venin? What happens to a dragon when its rider is a venin? Sgaeyl is pissed at Xaden, but still flies with him. Frickin Barlowe still had his dragon after he turned. How many dragons know how many things?!

I’m *pretty sure* only the holiday copy (the red cover) has them but they are posted on Rebecca’s website for everyone to access. I’ve yet to finish Onyx Storm because I suck😅 I hate reading incomplete series soooo, girl math, if I don’t finish it then my fault and not because there isn’t another one
