Okay this may be a little long my son is currently 10 weeks old. And I am about 80% formula feeding him he’s on enfamil neuropro gentlease. I went to his pediatrician a few days ago because he has cradle cap that was spreading and eczema on his face and he will go times where he will literally only eat one ounce and then fall straight to sleep or he would sleep while I’m trying to feed him and won’t get any. Now I try to feed him every 3 hours or so because that’s what his pediatrician suggested we do now he finally made it to 24 ounces yesterday though the feedings were really choppy. But today I could get him to only do 3 ounces every other bottle or he will just sip some or refuse. I feel like I’m at my wits end with trying to see why he keeps not eating properly. I attached a ss of what his feedings look like.

Hi this sounds like my daughter as a newborn. Is the nipple size too small? Could it be a milk allergy? Turns out my daughter had cmpa and as soon as we switched to nutramigen ready to feed, different baby. Started taking 3-4 oz in 15 min every 2.5-3 hours hours. Prior to that she would take over an hour to maybe finish an ounce or less. She also had what appeared to be severe eczema and it went away after the switch. It was so stressful so i completely feel you. Ask your ped to test his stool for traces of blood. That could possibly confirm an allergy if there are no other visible signs of eating issues.

Hang in there! It’s a lot of trial and error
