I keep seeing posts of 7-8 week old babies going 4-5 hours between feeds in the night and wondering if its just my baby thats waking up every 3 hours

Mine varies, up until recently if was every 2 hours but he's suddenly started going 4 hours without waking! My midwife told me it varies so much baby to baby depending on their size, because a bigger baby can hold more milk and therefore can go longer without getting hungry! Mine is only small so needs feeds more often, but he has started drinking more so hoping that means his little tummy is getting bigger!

Mine can be anything between 1 and 4 hours! Usually get a longer stretch at the beginning of the night then less as the night goes on! My little girl is 8 weeks old on Thursday I'm waiting for her to get those longer stretches in but feels like it will never happen! don't get me wrong I love the 3am cuddles but I'm tired 😂😂

6/7/8h but she is a very good sleeper xx

My boy is 11lb 10 (7 weeks today) and going 10-2ish (never more than that) but then getting up at 4/5 and 7/8 x

Usually 2-3hrs, but the 1st stretch of sleep is 3hrs if lucky occasionally has been 4hrs but it then gets shorter like every 2hrs until around 9ish am he will then go 3-4hrs throughout the day

A stretch of 2/3 hours at he start of the night then 1-2 hourly after that. 6 weeks today.
During the day we average 1-2 hourly feeds and in the evening can be every 30 mins x

We get the first stretch of 3 sometimes 4 hours and then it's every 1-2 hours after that. Baby will be 6 weeks on Thursday and breastfed xx

I was getting 5/6 hour stretches until he hit the 6-8 week growth spurt. Now its back to 3/4 hours. He's on breastmilk in the day and formula at night

3 hours is hard because it takes an hour just to feed, burp, change & nap them

Last bottle around 8/9pm until about 2/3am. Then wakes around 5.30am but not always for a feed then a feed at 7am x
