Currently struggling with a preemie who recently got sick with a fever, got over it and now has a cough that is lingering. He now won’t take a bottle properly when we fill it to 90 mls but is refusing to take it. Anyone else dealt with this? We need him to gain weight but he is on the lower end of the trend.

You can try vapor rub on feet a friend who is a nurse told me that. And my son always has a lingering cough. He was 13 weeks early and we were only able to get one shot of the lung shot before he was here.

It also took my son forever to gain weight. Dr gave me a list of things to mix with his drink/food to help with weight gain. So maybe type that in on internet food for infant or preemie to help gain weight

Yes it probably is bothering him, just comfort him right now. Hyland has good organic meds.
