Iron transfusion.

I’ve been called by the hospital and I’m in for an iron transfusion tomorrow and I’m not sure what to expect. Any advice?

I’m following along to see any advice as I’m due an iron transfusion on Friday x

I’ve had them outside of pregnancy, about to have one in this pregnancy just awaiting for my results!
My best advice is be prepared for waiting around afterwards, I’ve always had cold like symptoms the next day and bad bruising from the IV. Also nausea I felt really sick for about 3 days afterwards x
