Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?!

My little one is 4 months old and needs constant entertaining and interaction. I absolutely don’t mind giving him that attention, but I genuinely don’t understand how other mums get anything else done.

I can’t manage any self-care, the house is never even remotely tidy, cooking is a struggle, and I can’t even pump with wearables because he wants to be held most of the time.

I know having a baby isn’t supposed to be easy, but I can’t help feeling like I’m either doing something wrong or I’ve just got a particularly high-needs baby. Please tell me I’m not the only one living like this!

Have you tried wearing baby in a sling?
Do you need to pump? If not then don’t add the extra task!

No… this was me. Still is me at 6 months (though it has gotten marginally easier). I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong, nor is bubba. It’s just the way some babies are built. You’re doing great!

I put my kid in a carrier... See my profile picture. Lol it i do stuff while he's napping. 😅 In the beginning it felt like I couldn't get anything but I would do a couple of things when he slept and some tiny time when he was awake. I had a playmate he used for tummy time. I would get a little bit done here a little bit done there. When he was awake and he wanted to be held I would put him in the carrier and he was smiling and cooing along with me as I was dancing along to music doing the dishes and getting dinner ready.

It's definitely going to be a hit and miss to find your routine but it will happen.
