Does anyone else get proper annoyed when food is not what you expected

I am watching my calories as it is. I am enjoying my food but after having lunch at 12 , I am really hungry when I get home at half 5/6pm

Amyways , hubby made slow cooker sweet and sour tonight (he WFH). Apart from it was just pineapple and chicken. So no veg at all. And he got rid of the sauce? And then served it with rice. The chicken was also super dry like pasty and the rice was obviously dry as there was no sauce. Which is weird bevause usually he cooks good.

I refused to eat it because I'm not wasting my calories. It had no veg in so it was the world's tiniest plate and now he's asking what do I want from the shop

I know I'm being a brat but I literally cannot be arsed thinking about what I want. I don't know - my brain is fried amd I've just spent the rest of the night sorting stuff out (dentist appts, uniforms, emails to school and nursery) I already do the food shop for everyone every week, write the list, write the menu , clean the fridge, do the kids snacks every night, ask him what he wants for his lunches

So now am bloody starving but I need to wash my hair. I haven't showered in 2 days plus I'm on my period.

Honestly food being wrong or not what I expect sends me right over the edge. We haven't argued or anything

Is anyone else like this ?

Sonetimes I feel like I'm crazy .

I know this is a priviledged post, I know some people do not have money to eat. We have frozen said meal as rhe kids seemed to like it enough 🤣

Ugh I’d be super annoyed too. I have a relatively restricted diet because a ton of things upset my stomach so I’ve been there, like husband making something his preferred way and I can’t eat it. Super frustrating.

Totally get it! I dont smoke or drink - food is my thing. I get pre-excited for breakfast when I go to bed.
Hope your next dinner makes up for it!

I am such a brat about food. Having my food expectations dashed brings out a side of me that I’m ashamed of.
