Need to vent and advice

ok so i need advice… im really starting to struggle with pumping im 2 months pp and im about to quit

1.) i barley get any when i pump… i only get between .5-1oz everytime i pump

2.) Baby is just screaming and crying all day long and its getting in the way of when i pump… i missing multiple pumps a day because im trying to get her to stop screaming.

both me and the bf wirk overnights, i work asleep overnights and hes awake so i can’t just let her cry it put while i pump because she will wake him. I really want to continue but idk if i can keep going especially with missing iut on multiple pumps a day sooner or later its going to tank my already low supply

Is there a reason you’re exclusively pumping rather than feeding directly at the breast? Only because it sounds like the pumping itself is becoming the biggest hurdle right now.

Also, can your partner help soothe or hold baby while you pump? I completely understand that you both work nights, but supporting each other is important too. This stage won’t last forever, and if pumping is something you really want to continue, you shouldn’t have to shoulder the entire load on your own.

Try not to judge your supply purely by what you’re pumping either. Some people don’t respond well to a pump, and 0.5–1 oz isn’t always a true reflection of supply. It might be worth checking flange size, pump settings, and making sure you’re eating, drinking, and resting as much as possible.

Whatever you decide, you’ve made it 2 months already, which is an achievement in itself x
