keratosis pilaris mamas out there

My Lg has been diagnosed with keratosis pilaris. Before they said it’s milia but now are saying it’s not its KP. Does anyone know of any good products for their baby that they have used. My Lg has it for 7 months now. Nothing is helping it. I’ve used soap substitutes, epimax cream, double base gel moisturiser. But it seems to get worse or flared up when she’s hot. I’m really getting concerned about her skin. It’s not getting better and GP give nothing. All they say it’ll go as she grows up.

Iva had KP my whole life and the only two things that truly work are sun exposure (which you wouldn’t want on a child) and exfoliation (both manual exfoliation like a scrub or chemical exfoliation using alpha hydroxy acid products). My 3yo is developing it, but I’m not sure I’m going to do anything about it as it isn’t harmful and I don’t think I want to be exfoliating her skin much. Curious to know if you find anything that works for your little one.
