What’s the best way to get your license as an adult? I never got my license and I want to try and get one. I haven’t driven a car since I was 16 and I’m in my 40’s now. Testing is a big issue. It took me 4 times to pass the written test and I failed the driving test twice.

I got mine at 25. I failed written an driving when I was a teen. The only thing that really helped me was reading the Manuel online about 3x then practicing everyday. But im super anxious with social anxiety so I wanted to make sure I knew everything . I passed first try only missing 2 points.

Go to or call the DMV and see if you can request a copy of the driver’s manual or see if you can purchase or download one from the dmv website. Take as many practice exams as you can to prepare (not sure if that’s a thing in your state, but my state offers it). Take notes on everything that will be covered on the driving exam, and get someone to practice with you (someone who will take it seriously and judge you accordingly). Or you can see if you can sign up for classes like on a Saturday or something. I hope this is what you were asking.
