baby acne or something more serious?
hi, my baby girl is 5 weeks old and this has been her face since week 3. Pimples keep popping up, they leave for a day and then it’s back. Now her eyebrows are getting crusty and yellow with little flakes. I’m too scared to even wash her face with cotton wool now so I don’t make it worse. I’m worried this is beyond baby acne and she might have a viral rash or a reaction to something in my breast milk, is this normal or do I need to contact GP?

Looks like every baby I’ve seen around this age, including mine. My GP said it’s normal and will come and go. It’s from the hormones in our milk. I just use a damp washcloth to wipe down her face each day and it helps
