Antibotic Hell!!!

My daughter (2yrs) has been diagnosed with an ear infection and given amoxicillin x3 a day. Im having an awful time trying to get her to take it. Shes kicking, biting, screaming.
Does anyone know of any sneaky ways to get her to take it???
Iv tried mixing it with juice, yogurt, giving her chocolate and nothing is working.

You could call the drs and see if they have a flavoured (or different flavoured) one you could try and see if that helps?
We always go to the shops and my daughter gets a bag of magic stars or buttons and has one after every dose. Obviously not ideal in the morning first thing or before bed but if it gets her to take it it’s worth it! 😂.

Also have you tried a medicine cup aswell as spoon and/or Calpol syringe. The medicine cups give them more ownership of it x

My daughter was the same a few months ago when she was on it. In the end we had to tell her that the doctor said she has to take her special medicine to make her better. 2 year olds are hard work, they definitely aren't stupid 😂

We hid it in 1/3 of a blackcurrant fruit shoot, as ice cold as possible helps mask the taste, I also put it in while he wasn’t looking too, he was so excited about the sugary drink he didn’t notice
