Swimming

Looking for swimming lessons for my 16 month old. I am willing to spend a bit extra on this than other activities as I really dread the thought of going swimming- the faff of changing drying getting myself ready etc. is there anywhere in the area that feels a bit nice and has good facilities and doesn’t feel gross? Thanks

Following as I’d really like to get both of mine in proper lessons!
Can recommend waves (Whitley bay) and lakeside (killingworth) if you go outside of classes though. Killingworth especially as the kids get free access to the soft play if you pay for a swim!
