Help with baby name!
I’m pregnant with my second and we don’t know the gender yet but I’m already thinking about names.
For a girl we love Mary Margot; however, I’m concerned with a double name because I’m worried not everyone will say “Mary Margot” and just call her “Margot”. Which makes me wonder if we should just do Margot as her first name and then do a middle name.
Does anyone have a double name that wishes they didn’t? Or wishes they just had a first name then middle name?
The other option is just doing “Margot Mary” Margot as her first name and Mary as a middle name. I just feel like it’s not as cute as Mary Margot

Not quite what you’ve asked, but we were going to give our daughter a double barrelled first name. Just after she was born we decided to do a usual first name and middle name. We’re so glad we did because it feels like lots of people are doing double barrelled first names and makes life a bit more straightforward for her.
