Baby/toddler belongs pt.2

How much % wise do you keep of your baby/toddler’s outgrown clothing?
I’m worried I’m hoarding! Keeping a lot for baby no.2 in future 😅

Those who choose 25/50% please give me tips on how to part with them.😬

I kept everything on the off chance I had a 2nd... and I did... except they're both in 2 different sizes for the seasons... so.... it didn't help other than I traded his clothes in for credit to consignment shops

I’ve had no choice but to get rid of 90% of my boys baby clothes due to space but I have kept a few things. Just like outfits that really bring back some nice memories and his first walking shoes. If I could I would’ve kept them all even if I weren’t planning on having any more 😅

My first baby is 19 months and I decided to keep everything that isnt stained or shows a lot of wear for now and then I can go through it later. I dont have any emotional attachment to my stuff but im not ready to get rid of his stuff yet.

I just wasn’t that attached to her clothes 🤷‍♀️ if I have pictures of her wearing it, that’s good enough for 95% of it. Kept things like her coming home outfit, or anything really special or meaningful but literally a couple of outfits top in each size, and nothing really past the age of 1.

I have some newborn things from both my children but absolutely everything else gets sold, donated or passed down

I'm keeping all clothes for future kids as we want more. Once we're done I'll pass it on or sell on Vinted. Don't need it past that point.

I kept things that were clean and in a good condition, so I’d say about 75% but we wanted to have another child so kind of made sense to keep all the bigger things especially.
My baby is a higher percentile than my first so even though they were born in the same season baby was growing out of clothes much quicker. If you have space and you know you want another child why not keep it

I kept the clothing I absolutely loved and the items I felt were most necessary for my second born. About 25-50%

I kept mine for my second child... and then had the opposite Gender. 😂

I kept the dress she wore on her first Christmas, the dress she wore on her first birthday and a pair of dungarees that I loved her in. Other than that they have all been donated. Our house is far too small to store clothes for years when potentially we might not have another child, and if we do then they might all be the wrong season. Also, I want to go and buy baby clothes again if we do!
