What kind of mom would say, Mustangs are gay when their sons says Oh that's a nice blue car?

it’s a very millennial/gen x saying to label inanimate object as “gay”

personally, we don’t use that kind of language in that manner. gay means boys who like boys and another word for happy in this house, and that’s it. we don’t use it as a negative adjective because it’s not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Someone jealous that they don’t have a nice blue mustang. Also someone who likes to crush their kid’s happiness for no reason whatsoever.
