Wisdom teeth & smoking

I lm a cannamom and i have to get my wisdom teeth taken out next week and the dentist told me no smoking in the week before and no smoking for a month after!! I feel like this is extreme but maybe I’m wrong. Anyone get their wisdom teeth pulled and smoke prior to and after?? And by after i mean a couple days lol my husband got his removed two years ago and was drinking and smoking the next day! I plan to wait at least 3 days but maybe i should longer?

They tell you to wait because of dry socket but beyond that your baby is fine 🫶🏼

Dry socket is nothing to kid around about, when I had mine taken out via surgery I put cotton balls soaked and tucked them back there so the smoke didn't dry out my sockets. And it also helps for the sucking motion too. Your baby just like Aspen said is perfectly fine mama!
