Taking baby outside
My little boy is 2 weeks old and I also have two other kids (3 and 5). We live in the South and it's summer and of course the kids want to go to the pool. Is it safe to take a newborn outside in this heat if I have him in a stroller covered and with a fan? My other kids were winter babies so I didn't take them out anyway and not sure how to handle a summer baby. Just wanna do what's safest for him.

I was told that it’s fine. You can cover him with the stroller visor but I was advised not to use an additional blanket bc it can trap heat. A fan and maybe a hat should be good! I have a one month old and we’ve just started going out in the sun. The fan alone helps so much!
We have a newborn and do the same thing with the fan, but just keep them covered because they can’t use sunscreen or anything yet so protect their skin!
