Bit concerned as the last day or so my 19 week old has been sort of off his feeds. He was drinking 6oz every 3-4 hours and a 7-8oz before bed, averaging at like 1L a day. Yesterday he fought one bottle and refused it after 2oz and then today he’s been refusing them all day long… I can only assume it’s teething related but I can’t see any whiteness to the gums and I feel like it’s maybe too early? He’s been super fussy around feeds so I’m assuming he is hungry but he’s in bed for the night having only drank 490ml over 5 bottles today…. He will drain 2 bottles no issue in the night so I’m baffled. And very much dreading tonight as I fear he’s going to try to make up 600ml to catch up and be up every 2 hours or something🥴

What size teats do you have on your bottle? Sometimes when babies need to size up they can refuse feeds or drink less also it could just be a little growth spurt ☺️ mine did the same around that age then went back to normal after a few days/week

My boy is same age and was goung through the same this week. He normally has 6-7oz every 3 hours so average a 1 litre a day. One day he only totalled 640ml was chewing the teet, I thought maybe he needs tbe next size teat size 2 but hes a very windy baby so it wasn't that. I have heard around this stage they reach a regression or go extra fussy and distracted during bottles. Hes improved at the end of this week but still something seems off.
Its hard to distinguish sometimes if its teething or too early or they really are unwell etc.
I know I havent helped but it's reassuring to know that other babies goung through the same issue at this age. Hopefully they turn a corner soon xxx
