2 month vaccines

I’m so anxious about giving my little one vaccines. Even though a lot of these sound like normal immune responses I know my anxiety will be going crazy. Which vaccines did your baby get?

Sounds pretty normal but if you are worried I would call your HV. My baby was more sleepy and upset but also got a fever after his, though I ended up not actually giving him more than the 3 advised Calpol doses as his temperature had started to come down that night (had his vaccines late morning around 11:40, temperature was reducing around 23:30 and he was more smiley again). He had been more fussy for a week or so after but other than that he was pretty much back to normal a day after the vaccines. He has his 12-week vaccines coming up early July.

My little one had the same reaction after her 2month shots, and her 2week rsv vaccine (recommended by pediatrician) it’s a fairly standard reaction from what I’ve seen and heard, if it concerns you too badly definitely call her doctor or you can call a hospital and they can reassure you


Worst case scenario they will want to check it out to be 100% safe but also just to be able to put it in her chart for future reference, you can also request to split up her shots into a couple once a month rather than several at one time (I did that to help ease the nerves I had)
