Would you go camping with your little?

On your own?? I am a single mom and want to experience this but like I don't know how to start a fire lol πŸ˜†

I would take a trusted friend or sibling or something with you for sure! But I wouldn't rule it out entirely because camping can be a lot of fun with little ones

I'm not a camper! I need a toilet and a bed. I love hiking and going to national parks and stuff but I get an air bnb or hotel. You might be able to find some groups, or put together a group, of a few people. Or I'm sure there's lots of resources or classes to learn camping skills if you're set on it.

If I knew how to hook up the camper and all of that I would definitely take my daughter πŸ˜‚ But my husband does most of the work when we go camping so idk I might get too overwhelmed and not enjoy it like I usually do.

I have for many years. Stressful? Yes , but memories made for kids!

I also recommend taking a friend or maybe even a family member if you're close with anyone. If not I would highly suggest doing a cabin rather than a tent. Between weather and weirdos and my personal fear of the kids getting out of the tent, it would just be better to do a cabin if possible.

I would feel comfortable camping alone with the right protection, in the right location. However, I go camping, know the ins and outs and am comfortable camping. If you aren't comfortable even starting a fire I would not. Definitely would not go camping without some form of protection either. I'd also have a safety talk with the kiddo, and a point of contact with someone who knows exactly where we are and when we will be back.
