My 16mo chews my hair for comfort and to go to sleep. It's getting more and more. We are waaaaay too far down the track to just say no and pull her away. So feeling a little lost. Also my hair is in constant tiny knots and clumps now which is not good.
I've tried giving her a substitute like a soft toy or a doll. She loves these but still comes to me for a good chew.
Anyone else have or had a hair chewer? Did they grow out of it? How did you stop it? Any help or solidarity would be appreciated because no one else seems to have this issue 😕

I have no advice at all, but my second is also a hair puller/grabber/chewer. My first never bothered with my hair, but my second has done it since he was tiny. He's now nearly 12 months, and I'm also trying to find an alternative. I sometimes find it too much him constantly wanting to grab my hair, I was hoping he'd grow out of it
