Cot...Bed?

Anyone moved their little ones from a cot to a floor bed yet? Thinking to has having issues with baby hitting their head/face/body constantly and waking up. If you have...any advice?

Did this two weeks ago. An absolute game changer. He takes himself to bed for a start, when he wakes up, I'm not cramped in a chair or laying on the floor, I'm able to drift off to sleep next to him in his bed! Love it
