I was encouraged to put the baby straight onto the boob as I was BFing. I'm unsure about the formula but you could definitely ask your midwife.
They usually have a wide range of ready made formulas for you to use if not I brought loads of ready made bottles in with me x
I didn’t see kendamil when i was there but i was encouraged to bring my own anyway
