My little girl was on cow and gate when she was first born. We switched her to aptamil when she was about 2 months old because I thought the cow and gate was making her very gassy (not sure if that's even possible). Anyway after both formulas she would scream after bottles, she was very windy even if she brought wind up, she has always had mucous in her poos (have added photos in comments). In February, she developed a rash that eventually went away. HV & doctor said it was viral. She then at the end of May developed dry red patches on the side of her neck, inside her arms and on back of legs (her dad has eczema). Then last Wednesday she had 4 poos before 9.30am, all yellow and soft but come 1pm she had a jelly like poo with blood in (attached photo), then in the space of 2.5 hours had 4 more poos and had a rash around her bottom. She has always been quite sicky throughout the day, bringing up milk constantly throughout the day.
We rang 111 and they asked us to go into Paediatrics A&E because of the blood. They are suspecting she may possibly have an intolerance or CMPA.

Yes we caught it at 2 weeks old. If the doctor suspects this you may end up on nutramigen as it broken down protein. Speak to them about it my little girl had this but was monitored and is on a further one with a dietician
Neocate formula x

Yeah this looks very much like CMPA and the same symptoms my baby had. I also got fobbed off by the gp first time but my health visitor referred him to a dietitian who put him on neocate xx
