Ease my mind please 🥺😭

I'm lactose intolerant, it's gotten more mild as an adult (next day I live on the toilet with a belly ache, it's not an allergy but an intolerance so can be quite painful and was horrible as a child)

My sweet girl is 2 weeks and 6 days old, I was changing her nappy and found a small amount of coffee ground blood. Straight away it reminded me of the struggles my mum had with me and how she was so scared of the blood in the nappy she took me to A&E.

I've called our doctor and booked an appointment but I'm just having a horrible day mentally with it. I hope she doesn't have it as it's not nice to live with and it causes so much discomfort especially her being so small 🥺

She spits up a lot, she can poo 4-5 times an hour, she gets visibility uncomfortable when she's gassy and once she's relieved, she's so much more happy.

Has anyone else got a baby with cmpa? Any advice as I'm almost certain this is what it is, I just need my doctor to confirm 🥺

My son has mild CMPA, it wasn’t diagnosed properly until about 5 months but he was very unsettled as a newborn. After I cut dairy and soy from my diet the blood in his nappy stopped. I slowly reintroduced soy and he seems okay with that but dairy is still a bit hit and miss.

I’m not in a rush for him to have dairy in his own diet as it’s not needed anyway so we’ve plodded on without it. I can now have small amounts in my own diet and he can tolerate that!
